Not unfair! Now what are mashadites supposed to do with all the lather generated here this week lol? Methinks folks here need a long reflective shower – the sweat and spit spray in this section can’t be doing your skin and health any favours.

Kibaki, Raila ceasefire

It is understood that Mr Kibaki and Mr Odinga had come under pressure from a number of foreign powers calling themselves "Friends of Kenya", among them the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union, to end the crisis. Each of them was called separately before they agreed to talk on the phone.

The day Kenyans will realize that the real power is not in the hands of their leaders but in them as the ultimate appointing authority, is the day Kenya will spring out of the abyss of her politics.

Junel I think a curfew especially when the country does not expect any internal strife will mean infringing on peoples right of freedom to associate at whatever time they so desire.

The mantle rests with you and me. We must educate our folks that they hold the power in their hands. Once they know this our governments can never take us for rides. They will give us money and more money during election period and we will thank them for it. After all it is our taxes that we remit to them. But, But we will deal with them, the best way we know.

Think of what would happen today if we all said as Kenyans that we had no faith in this government. Boycott work, Business, School and everything that makes the economy tick. Heads would roll in government and things would not be business as usual.

Like the wenye nchi when they want to award themselves hefty perks, the wanainchi must have a unity of purpose

But wait a minute. Damn! That was a good dream I was having right there. Kenyans want change but they want other Kenyans to dirty their hands in the spade work and not them. But where will this other Kenyans who will do the manual come from if not them?
